Live updates. Smarter insights. Informed decisions.
Your finances are always moving. Now Moorr can keep up.
Open Banking has been our #1 most requested feature, and it’s finally coming to Moorr!
With Open Banking, you can securely share eligible banking information with Moorr, helping reduce manual data entry and giving you a more complete, up-to-date view of your finances.
Fill in the form to join the waitlist and be among the first to get early access.
Open Banking is completely optional, and you stay in control of what you choose to share.
You can still set up and update Moorr manually, or import transactions using a CSV file if that works better for you. Open Banking simply gives you another way to keep more of your financial picture up to date automatically, reduce manual work and unlock clearer, more meaningful insights across Moorr.
Still have questions? Here are some of the most common ones we hear about Open Banking, security, consent and how your data is used.
Open Banking operates under Australia’s Consumer Data Right (CDR), a government-regulated framework designed to give you greater control over how your data is shared and used.
There are strict requirements around consent, privacy, security and data handling, including 13 legally binding CDR privacy safeguards. You choose what eligible information you share, who it can be shared with and how long your consent lasts.
When connecting through Moorr, you’ll be redirected to your financial institution to verify your identity and authorise the data sharing. Moorr does not ask for or store your internet banking password, and Open Banking does not give Moorr the ability to move money or make changes to your bank accounts.
You can also manage or withdraw your consent at any time.
No. Moorr does not ask for or store your bank login credentials. Authentication happens with your financial institution.
Absolutely not. Open Banking allows eligible banking information to be shared. It does not give Moorr the ability to make payments, transfer money or change your bank accounts.
No. As part of the authorisation process, you can choose the eligible accounts and information you consent to share.
You’ll be shown the period of consent before you approve the data sharing. You can also manage or withdraw your consent at any time.
You’re always able to change your mind.
If you withdraw your Open Banking consent, future data sharing covered by that consent will stop. This means Moorr will no longer receive new or updated banking information through that connection.
Depending on your consent and data-retention choices, information that has already been imported may continue to support your existing Moorr financial picture and insights, where permitted under the CDR framework.
Where CDR data is no longer required, it generally needs to be deleted or de-identified, unless an exception applies. You also have rights under the CDR to request deletion of eligible data.
So withdrawing consent doesn’t mean you’re locked out of Moorr. You can continue using the platform and update your finances manually or import transactions via CSV if you prefer.
No. Open Banking is optional. You can continue using Moorr and entering your information manually.
